    Arabic contributions examine Islamic thought, Qur’anic studies, Abbasid and Fatimid history, Sufism, grammar, and Andalusian and Iraqi literature, as well as educational strategies, cyber security, sustainable tourism media, and GIS-based modeling.     This issue gathers a broad group of research papers in language, literature, linguistics, education, history, media and cultural studies. The papers reflect the variety of academic work in Iraqi universities today, and show how modern approaches (postcolonial, feminist, pragmatic, stylistic, educational, cognitive) are expanding research questions and opening new angles of interpretation.

    The studies address Arabic and world texts, ancient and modern, and include analysis of theatre, poetry, fiction, film, proverbs, everyday language, classroom strategies, and social issues. They also present historical and archaeological studies, and research by postgraduate students representing new scholarly development.

The topics include communication between native and non-native speakers, media influence on behavior, visual pollution in cities, election and political participation, and innovative teaching strategies that raise learning outcomes, motivation, and higher thinking skills.

    The issue also includes historical, archaeological, poetic, and interpretive studies. Together, they show that the humanities are living fields that help societies understand themselves across time.
