Abstract

Domestic violence is one of the most widespread social phenomena in our contemporary reality. Although this negative phenomenon is not new—it has existed since the beginning of humanity—it has expanded significantly in both scope and prevalence. Moreover, it has evolved in terms of its methods, forms, and manifestations, making it one of the most dangerous social issues threatening the fabric of society. It has now become a global phenomenon, necessitating serious attention and intervention.

Unfortunately, domestic violence has become one of the most prevalent forms of human violence within our societal structure, posing a significant threat to family cohesion and increasing the likelihood of a generation suffering from various psychological and social disorders. This, in turn, has profound implications for the broader social structure.
